This takes away the element of realism that other games in this genre offer and makes the game feel a bit cheap and rushed. The combat is fast paced and replicates the action of an arcade game. Granted, the scope in this type of game is rather limited, but there are still many interesting things that could have been included. It would have been much more satisfying if the creators of Combat Army had used their imaginations to come up with completely different types of missions.

There are multiple routes marked out on the maps for players to navigate as well as a large number of strategic points to utilise such as sniper decks and choke points. There are six different maps for players to explore, and the great graphics and attention to details in the Combat Arms world makes exploring the locations a lot of fun. One of the main advantages of the game is that it is completely free, which is nothing to sneeze at. Combat Arms feels a lot like a Counter Strike clone without offering gamers anything really new or different.
